I'm 42 and I still play games. It's a wee bit of escapism, and I've get headphones so I can't hear the wife moaning!

I see the sense in that

I enjoy a game with the wean on the Wii & PS3 but that's about it. Can't comprehend adults gaming though.

I like gaming.

I'm hardly on my PS3, but I do have FIFA 13. I have to play it more.

It's good stress relief. I was away on a course last week and they had an X-Box with FIFA 13 on it. Every so often just to do something other than the course work I had a game on it. I ended up playing it the night before each of three exams.

Passed all three. Decided to reward myself for that by buying the game to play at home :-)

I don't play fifa when the Mrs is present as I'm a gentleman.  Well that, plus her yapping puts me off

Anyone who wants a lesson on the xbox, let me know

The wife is pretty relaxed with me being on the consoles.  In fact, she'll politely wait to walk in front of the TV screen only when there is a stoppage in play, if she needs to get to the kitchen and back. :-)

She buys me all the latest consoles, so I'm pretty lucky.

You need some understanding. It's awkward when the mrs wants you to pause the game for a chat and you only have 30 seconds to do it.

ok - so im slowly getting the hang of the game now. i just figured how to press, push the center back forward etc and also how to change the style of play ie defence - balanced - attack etc.....and i think i may have found a way that helps me actually frickin tackle!!

sooooo is there anyone out there kind enough to tell me how to swerve the bastard ball? finding it hard to score goals (god dam! did you see the jugs on the gypsy on Ch4?? strange folks but some of the chicks are smokin'!) aherm anyways. Also what about step overs etc, what buttons etc do i use to do tricks?

On the classic controls you hold down the left trigger and waggle the right stick about to do stuff. Start with the stick pointing behind your player and bring it round in a 360, well done you've just performed a zizu turn! Start with the stick pointing forward and do the same thing, flip-flap.

I'm lemmystash on live. No tinternet at the moment but working on it.
