The SFA have decided that no further probe need take place around the takeover of the club by Charles Green and his consortium as the Pinsent Mason enquiry has answered the questions the SFA needed answered.

It may irk some but its good to finally just be discussing football for a change - surely

Not surprised in the least. If the SFA can avoid doing something they will.

Considering the Pinsent Mason question never actually asked any relevant questions at all (ie. Craig Whyte came out immediately and agreed with the findings as he never claimed any of them in the first place) I don't see how it can be considered to have done any good.

Still, we'll see what happens if anything ever progresses with Whyte's claims in the legal courts. Not that I'm expecting anything there either right enough. Whyte has a habit of making empty threats.

Judging by the comments on that article there is still a long way to go.

At least as far as Donny Gall is concerned. Although I think he may be a little bit biased.

Indeed, did he ever sue the BBC for instance?

The independent enquiry made a judgement, so I can't see why the SFA don't accept it. Surely it is a sensible use of money to do it that way, rather than setting up another expensive enquiry.
