Some decent looking Champions League games tonight, some important ones too. I know that the Celtic game has its own thread but I thought we could focus on the other matches here. I won't be watching the Barca Celtic game, mainly because it doesn't really mean anything, so I will probably tune into the Arsenal game away at Napoli.
Arsenal just need to avoid defeat to win the group and go through, but Napoli are currently joint third with Dortmund however the German side have a better head to head so the Italians need to finish above them to qualify. Arsenal travel to Naples, which should be a cracking atmosphere, whilst Dortmund are in France to face Marseille - who prop up Group F with 0 points.
In Group E Chelsea can win the group with a win or draw. I imagine the Blues will want to make sure by beating Steau at Stamford Bridge. The other game is Schalke at home to Basel, with both sides still in with a chance to go through, but the German side have to win.
In Group G Zenit and Porto are battling it out for 2nd place behind Atletico Madrid, and of course in Group H Milan and Ajax are the teams in with a chance of qualifying with Barca. Celtic are already resigned to bottom spot, but in Italy the two other sides in the group will compete for a place in the round, with Ajax requiring a victory to do so. Of course if Celtic spring a massive shock in the Nou Camp then top spot in the group could change as well.
So, what will you be watching tonight and what do you think will happen around the matches?
I'll go Chelsea and Schalke from Group E. Arsenal and Dortmund Group F. Atletico and Zenit Group G and Barca and Milan Group H.
