The game against Man. City tomorrow, will give a little guidance as what is going to happen this season, although most of their world cup players won't be there, its a fairly strong looking bunch they have brought up, Dundee are expecting a crowd of about 7000, my guess for the game, 2-0 city

they got the 7000 they were looking for, a good day all round

Dundee have signed German players Thomas Konrad and Luka Tankulic on two-year contracts.

Defender Konrad, 24, and striker Tankulic, 23, had been on trial at Dens Park, with the latter scoring in a 2-0 friendly win over Manchester City.

Konrad lists Karlsruher among his former clubs

Both players have until now spent their senior careers in their homeland.

"They are both at a good age and fit into the squad we are building," manager Paul Hartley told the Dundee website. "Another two good additions."

And the manager added: "They impressed when we were away in Hungary and in the Manchester City game showed what they can do."

Konrad spent the past two seasons with SV Eintracht Trier 05, while Tankulic had been at Wolfsburg II since 2012.

Hartley guided the Dark Blues to promotion last season and has conducted an overhaul of his squad, including signing former Hibernian captains James McPake and Kevin Thomson.

Top six for Dundee this season, shouldn't be too hard looking at that league.

Went to see the game against Hearts last night, when it was over, i could not make my mind up, if we were really good or the jam tarts really very bad, if it was the latter, they will find it very tough this coming season, on the other hand if we were that good, am really looking forward to the start of league season  :wtf: we really should have scored at least 6

Had a wee thread for this game here - http://forums.scotti...14/#entry391966

You're right though, we were poor last night. We did leave out our first choice keeper and centre backs, which showed, as well as Gomis from the starting 11, so I'd expect our first choice lineup to have at least 6 changes to that side. But it was still a bit worrying and it was unreal how different we looked in comparison to the City game on Friday night. Hopefully that's it out of our system though and it was only a friendly, but it highlighted that our backup options maybe aren't quite up to scratch if we have injuries/suspensions.

Dundee looked good though, very impressive performance and I think you'll stay up no bother this season

Another youngster signed yesterday, this time from Ajax, he seems a good one as well, Ajax apparently have an abundance just now (fancy admitting to having to much talent)
