I don't think I wore a football top outside going to watch a game.... no matter how good the kit is, they looks naff if you wear them in town. I still wear my Scotland rugby top though...

I tend to wear the full kit when I play football, but that's mainly because I ended up with one after Football Aid a couple of years ago and the socks actually make a difference to whether or not I get blisters after the game! Prior to that I was wearing two pairs of socks as that seemed to help! Even since then I've bought the replica socks as they're worth paying for comfort!

Having said that, what ends up happening is a hodge-podge of different kits! Last week I was wearing Celtic socks, Celtic shorts from a different year, and an Argentina top!

I don't think I know anyone who buys the proper socks. They always seem vastly overpriced, although I never considered the quality. I have a good pair of Adidas ones - they were good, but are now becoming a little thin - and they were about £8.

Best bet is to get them towards the end of the season when the kits are in the sale, although sometimes if you wait too long you won't get them in your size. They're definitely worth getting.

Brilliant. As a Tim myself I have to say the Celtic lad deserves a clatter across the mush, even more so for the matching basket, and the Man Utd lad...Gary Pallister's second coming. All fkw's need to be humanely put down asap.
