Alex Rae has done well and a lot of Teddy Bears have been reminding me of the influence of their former players.

Good progress and I think it fair to say that Ian Murray was out of his depth.

Are there many players signed up for next season?

You'll be hoping that Mallan stays.

We ll take the young lad Baird at the back. He looks a good prospect.

Kyle Hutton is what he is. Good honest Pro that will always give you 100%. Limited player but will look to fill the gap left by Goodwin

There could be a real sea change for this great club.

The St. Mirren Independent Supporters Association (Smisa) is on the verge of coordinating a fan's buy out. This has been attempted before but fell by the wayside.

This time however the number of pledges required, myself included of course, have been exceeded.

I would think that an announcement will be imminent but this could mean excitement off the park and hopefully on it.

I noticed that... bring on the Morton! I always look forward to before a ball has been kicked but it's all downhill from there.

Why do people say it's all downhill? Downhill is normally the easy bit!!!

Alex Rae is bound to have some pretty good contacts.

This is definitely the best part of the season Jay, optimism prior to the realism.

There have been rumours that there is a Quatari interest in the Saints.  If all things come to pass, concentrating on the proposed fans buyout, then the fans could own their team in 10 years.

Tony Fitzpatrick is quoted as saying we could win the Premiership in around 3 years!!  He had great times as a Player and Manager and I think that kind of optimism has to be applauded even if it is a wee bit questionable.  He must be looking at how Leicester got on.

A dreamer but why not?  He was our Manager when Celtic were taking 3/4/5/6 off us each time we met at Celtic Park!

Maybe I should put money on that  League win though, they probably thought it wouldn't happen to Leicester either!

A £1 bet is fine though for such a monumental achievement. Anyone else that thinks winning the League is easy should see it from my perspective, I'll happily swap places.

I think you will be in a position this season to challenge for playoffs.

Any more word on interest in Mallan?
