This thread is the home of rangers chat. There is no place for digs, or arguments that get personal.

Is it for Rangers fans only then?

It's for anyone. As long as people dont come in just for digs and as long as they don't come in looking for an argument.

With prelimary court date announced one notable name missing is Brian Stockbridge...could he be the one feeding the authorities the inside information?

Unfortunately it seems that The Don cannot make a post about Rangers that does not contain a dig.

Warburton discusses how he would welcome a sporting director, if the workload required it.

Totally agree. Let's hope your optimism is adhered to.

on a more serious note, I see that MW wants a Football Director. Other than Hearts any other team up here use this position? Expensive layer of management that might be better invested in the team no?

With the route MW is taking the team i don't think it's a bad idea? Depends on the actual role and input these people have and if that means he has more time to focus on the job at hand then it may not be a bad idea........although I'm not 100% on the role.

I think it is the future, but many managers are stuck in the past.

I know a mind coach and he told me about the reluctance in Scottish football to adopt such coaching, because managers feel that they are supposed to be the ones doing that role. They feel threatened. It's slow progress, but eventually we will move away from that mentality and adopt experts in their own field to assist the manager in their day to day role.

aye but the thing is it is not up to the manager whether the football director role is filled - it will be the CE or Board. Manager may be consulted, but if a Board felt this was the way forward then the manager would be expected to do as he is told.

Always wonder why a mind coach cant get a better job  :?:
