This was coming for a long time. Today's result won't have affected it I wouldn't think.

Agree Craig - whether hes was sacked or resigned the decision would have been made prior to todays game

Seems that way, not sure how to feel about this, if truth be told results havent been right for a wee while, maybe for the best, the question is can another manager get more out of the squad than Rodgers was, and going forward recruit a better squad with the finances available

It was good seeing souness, carragher and Henry react to the news as they were told during the post match coverage of the arsenal vs Manchester united game. No time to rehearse an answer, which is refreshing to see from pundits.
