No, you haven’t downloaded the wrong podcast. Krys is still hosting the Scottish Football Forums podcast, but the opening discussion with John and Andy goes a bit off piste before we start digging into the real details of this weekend’s football action.
We start off looking at the latest changes at the top of League Two, with Elgin City contributing to another disappointing charity bet for the podcast while East Fife took full advantage to move top. In League One, Peterhead’s great form continued while we discuss the benefits of being a full time team in the third tier.
The television coverage this weekend focused on the Championship with a Scottish Super Sunday, and it was a toss up between “a worldlie” and seven changes and still winning comfortably for what was the key talking point of those games. Sadly, the talking point for Saturday’s Championship action was the injury to Conor McGrandles of Falkirk.
In the Premiership, is it too little too late for Dundee United? What is left for Hearts? How many more midfielders can Celtic pick up? And will Partick Thistle ever get to play at home again?
Thanks as always to McBookie for providing the stakes in our charity bet. No luck this week again.
