Pisses me off seeing that half bearded ex Scotland manager failure at every Hearts game.

Cunt should be banned from attending Scottish games and grounds.

Oh forgot, this is the SPFL.

Plus - the match was on Fox Soccer on this side of pound.

Minus - I had Hearts 2-1 in the predictor.  At least they got a point.

Previously, my wife - "That's an odd team color.", me - "Maroon doesn't show blood!"

Okay, autocorrect is not my friend.  I meant pond, not pound.  My graduate degree is in Quantitative Analysis, not language!

Its a tricky one as the results are not really improving or are very patchy to say the least. I would like to see him stay and turn it round probably simply to see what the people say that have been giving him such a hard time. I mean you have Richie Foran , another young manager in his first job, managing his team to relegation and openly admitting its all his fault yet not a word of criticism from the assembled media/Kris Boyd at him....

Cathro does actually explain the situation quiet well at Hearts but nobody really listens to what he says. When he arrived it coincided with 5 players leaving Hearts and of course our manager Robbie Neilson, who unbelievably our own fans hounded out even though he was clearly the best young manager in Scotland for a while. The players that left were actually some of our key guys. Ozturk and Rossi were our centre of defence. Sammon and Watt were our attack, even if they weren't actually scoring. (We also got rid of Juanma who was the clubs top scorer the previous season). Robbie also pinched Robbie Muirhead with him down to MK Dons who had just broken through to the first team and making a big impression on games.

So Cathro had to go out in the Jan window and basically make emergency signings to cover these departures but also bolster the squad that was needed anyway as we had a lot of youngsters that were also loaned out to the lower leagues.

He has also massively been hit by injuries, cant emphasis how big a lose Paterson is. The one player we had that could come up with a match winning perforance and usually did win tight games by himself! Also now Souttar being injured is a massive miss aswell.

These are the things people dont think about just Cathro is only 30 and doesn't know what he is doing. Then the talk about Levein and what his role is but it was exactly the same role as when Neilson was in charge but never mentioned as much so that suggests the media do have a problem with Cathro.

This season is a write off now anyway, missing Europe and the Betfred cup could be a blessing in disguise! Because of our staduim redevelopment we will probably get pumped in our last 3 games now anyway (so if i was Budge I would expect that)

I'm up for giving Cathro a proper chance to get some new players in (this is where I think him and McPhee will be good), get a good preseason and see where we are say Jan next season.

He has only been in the job for 4 months btw.......

Yeah I must admit I never actually realised a few of those issues and really puts the down turn of performance into perspective.

Remember when Hearts pumped Rangers? The new signings were trotted out as the reason and they were going to go from strength to strength. I remember a certain Jambo mocking me as i described this Hearts team as no more than average. ^_^

I am pretty sure someone doubted me when i said St Johnstone could possibly finish above the Jambos  ^_^

Sometimes the wee smug smiley is just not smug enough to convey my smugness  ^_^

granted we are really struggling at the moment

I've always said though that Tommy Wright and his team are both the most underrated teams/manager in the division
