Was reading that Celtic were actually wanting a Rangers win last night to help them achieve a world football record but Rangers got beaten at home.

Celtic are now needing to beat Partick tonight and Hearts at home on Sunday and Aberdeen not to win their final game of the season and if so Celtic will secure the record winning margin in the history of world football.

Celtic have already beaten their best unbeaten run within a 38-game league season and could match or beat several other records.

They are six goals short of the tally of 105 they amassed in season 2003-04.

In 2001-02, they got 103 points - three more than they currently have - and 33 wins - they currently sit on 32.

I'm shocked to hear Celtic were awarded a penalty.

Did i say it wasn't a penalty? Did i imply that it wasn't a penalty? I just find it strange that considering every single referee in Scotland has it in for Celtic they manage to get so many penalties.

I remember Forrester was blatantly fouled when right through on goal against Thistle at Firhill and Rangers were not awarded a penalty. It is more of a cunt when referees don't apply the rules. In fact only last night 2 Rangers players were blatantly fouled in the box and guess what? No penalty.
