Think its better having a separate thread for this rather than clogging up the Celtic thread

Trav, the Celtic support would come into the Oval via the Sudenham bypass if they played the Glens and would come in via Boucher road playing blues

If the blues sell to the general public then i would guess Celtic fans from here will buy them which will be a disaster

I ve only ever seen the Oval from the Motorway as i travelled to Rathcoole.

Never been to Windsor Park but i know it is close to Sandy Row.

The Celtic support are right to stay away but the Plastic Provos in the Green Brigade will never be taken seriously again. Probably no bad thing to be honest

Yep. Used to walk with 1301 down Sandy Row. That was after we walked with 1321 in East Belfast.

Drank in the upstairs of The Royal (i think). I remember the Old Sandy Row Rangers was up the top of the road before it was burned down.

I thought Windsor Park was that end of the City?

We were driving North to Rathcoole and there was a stadium down on our left of the Motorway and the driver said that was 'The famous Oval' and my mate (thick as fuck but a good guy) said 'Is that where Linfield play?' Well it made me laugh but the driver went into a rant about The Glens and how Linfield are this , that and whatever.  :D

I know i ll probably get this wrong as well but we did drive directly past Crusaders ground and i think it was the Shore Road or thereabouts. I kind of adopted them as my team just to piss of The Blues men i knew from Rathcoole and The Glens from East Belfast

Remember we were 'tourists' so the robbing bastard taxi driver probably took us to Rathcoole via fucking Bangor and Larne and anywhere else he thought he could get away with

Windsor is in the Village......bit of a dander from Sandy Row, but not near it in any description.

Both Sea view and the Oval would be on your left if travelling from Hollywood/City Airport to Rathcoole...... Shore rd would run parallel to the motorway and would be on your right if headed towards Rathcoole.

How do Linfield access the Kop?

Remember Leisure centre is a building site now and no access via Olypic Av.

Aye but seemingly Verona, Genoa , Fiorentina, Cagliara and any other Italian club you can think of are looking at him....Or was that Paul McStay

We have to wait for him throwing his boots and top into the crowd to say farewell

We did get a Timmy driver one time from the Airport that took us off the Motorway and through a Republican area (unity flats maybe) . He kept looking in his mirror and smiling. We were shitting ourselves right up until we drove past the original 'Prepared for Peace, Ready For War' mural. Is that Shore Road?

Remember we were just put in cars and driven everywhere.
