Dont want Celtic to get through this tie and earn millions increasing that gap even further.

B8g chance for them tonight and although they messed up the home game the tie is still in the balance.....i know their away form is rotten but 1 goal and they are through, when was the last time this team went 2 games without scoring ???

1-0 the Hoops.

You called it Cam

Since Celtic is a Scottish club I hope for success.

Really??? If so fair play to you Hairy ma man

Brendan Rodgers' side are now just a two-legged tie away from their main aim of reaching the groups and will learn their opponents when the draw is made on Friday.

The Scottish champions are in the Champions Route for the draw, meaning they avoid major names from the top leagues such as Sevilla, Napoli, and Liverpool. Celtic will also be seeded in the draw, keeping them apart from Olympiacos, FC Copenhagen and APOEL, amongst others.

The opposition will come from one of the teams who has already proceeded through the third qualifying round.

Celtic's potential play-off opponents:
  • Astana (Kazakhstan)
  • Qarabag (Azerbaijan)
  • Rijeka (Croatia)
  • Hapoeal Be'er Sheva (Israel)
  • Slavia Prague (Czech Republic)

Draw on Friday

I'm hoping for an away tie first then get them back home - always fancy us at home although was scared the night but showed a professional performance (only saw second half)

When Celtic FC is involved in tournaments outside Scotland then I will always hope they do well.

In fact over the years I've had very few issues with the football team. I think I've made the reasons for my issues quite clear, so there's no point in repeating them now.

I probably don't have a much respect for the current players as I had for a lot of their predecessors. That's probably down to the fact that most of the current day players in Scotland don't seem to have the same respect for the history and traditions of the game.

.
