Tad early but hey, there we go. This game will show if Pedro has learned anything from the 'Old Firm' games played last season. Hopefully our defence will be totally switched on as I still feel they are far too slack at times. I'd prefer the lad Declan John in the left wingback slot than Wallace & with Jack & Dorrans in midfield (hopefully) controlling there we can force the game. I think Miller will start and I've no probs with this IF he fucking stays central and doesn't wander. Morelos is a shoe in as main striker. Having said all that I still think Celtic will be too strong for us over the 90 & my main worry is Griffiths. Celtic to win but hopefully a decent, plenty effort show by the Gers. At least 3 goals I am hoping and feel that is a decent punt!

Got this down as a win for us dug, their run must come to an and and what better place than at Ibrox.

Pedro must realize by now how important these games are and as usual the ref will play a big part in proceedings.

I go 3 - 2....

Will wait til after tonight to talk about our team incase we get injuries.

Not going to call it as you just dont know even though we have the better squad, rangers are stronger than last season in midfield and up front but in defence they miss hill imo and alves hasnt been as good as i thought but ive only seen 2 games so only based on that.

I just cant see how we can beat Celtic and tbh I fear a real going over. Looking at games played so far we have toiled while Celtic have been pretty much the same high standards as last season.

Ofcourse football can be a strange game at times and naturally anything can happen but Celtic are firm favourites.

Cant bring myself to say the scoreline but I fear a doin......so hope I'm wrong

They have struggled against a poor St Johnstone and needed a dreadful refereeing decision to help them against Thistle.

They were hardly world beaters against Rosenberg, Astana and PSG 😂

wheresoeverwhensoever and howsoever we are called upon to make our exit. We shall do so as free men.

Forget Progress

Wallace wrongly flagged off side against Hearts cost us. That goal stands they have to come out and we would have won comfortably

I think we were ok against Thistle in both games. Have to be more clinical

My prediction is 3-1 Rangers.

My team would be

Gordy

KT
Boyata
Jozo
Lustig

Broon
Armstrong
Rogic

Sinc
Forrest

Griffy

Hopefully boyata makes is fit enough , forrest hoopz you may say? 4 goals in last 2 games and playing really well so a smidge of humble pie , bring paddy on for last 30 mins along with dembele.

I think our brendan will go with ntcham and bench armstrong or rogic , prob rogic but id like to see him start.

Rangers 1
Celtic _

I'd go Forrest to (never been his biggest fan) I don't think Roberts is quite up to speed yet I think we could even play Hayes and it wouldn't be an issue

My 11 for Rangers would have to be this, have to include Miller for his big game experience and he has a habit of scoring v Celtic and Pedro will no doubt pick him

Wes

Tav, Cardoso, Bruno, John

Candeias, Jack, Dorrans, Windass

Miller, Morelos

I would prefer to see Candeias, Jack, Dorrans, Pena, Rossiter in midfield in place of Miller up top and Windass in the middle for 5 in midfield and 1 up top.

Will be pleasantly surprised if Rangers get anything from this game.

If Alves doesn't make it IMO it will be a hard game for the Gers

I'd play Forrest - his confidence is up

If Gers score first I can see us stepping up a gear and we could win by 2 or 3. If we score and it stays 1-0 for a long time I'd predict a draw with Rangers nicking a point late on
