Just been to Detroit Social Club gig and now listening to album on way home. Live music is so much better than listening to music on mp3 format, cd etc

New Beady Eye album for me today. I like it. If this was a new band i reckon the media and critics would be all over it, but i suspect that many will judge it based on Oasis' high standards

Downloaded it early and also pre ordered the CD, so does that make it ok?

In a word Craig - yes.

Over the years I have downloaded a bunch of albums of alot of new bands only to turn into a fan and then actually go out and buy the albums (and see them in concert, buy a t-shirt or two etc..)

Downloading is not all evil as some would like you to believe.

Seeing them headline glastonbury when they reformed was amazing. If anyone was there, or seen it on tv, the way they went into bittersweet symphony was superb.

Kerrang...Gun's and Roses..Sweet child of Mine. Slash on guitar...phew!! The wife and I used to go on holiday to Santa Ponsa and the pub we frequented had a turn called Johnny Grogan (Irish guy) and he was shit hot with rock songs. Anyone heard of this guy Grogan and where he is now?

Listened to a bit of The Stone Roses and The Charlatans on the way home. Highlights being I Wanna Be Adored and The Only One I Know. Indie classics.
