He took it in his stride, he is at that age where he is getting too cool for school. That's 3rd time he has seen them won cup and he is only 10.

I just cant stop reading this. Its so cool, so full of information that I just didnt know. Im glad to see that people are actually writing about this issue in such a smart way, showing us all different sides to it. Youre a great blogger. Please keep it up. I cant wait to read whats next.

I love the way this topic just dies after the last comment.
The title reminded me of one of my favourite poems. I'm sure most will have heard it but for those who haven't.
The day of the Junior's Cup Final
Is a day I will never forget
For the other side's goalie was famous
He had never let one past him yet!
And on me all my team were dependin'
As the striker to lead the attack
For our manager said -- nae defendin'
Jist get in therr an' nae haudin' back!
From the kick-off I tore down the middle
An' my wingers baith matched me wi' speed
Then I passed it oot left frae a dribble
An' he lobbed -- an' I nodded ma heid!
One-Nil -- that was just the beginnin'
I knew then that vict'ry was mine
There was never no doubt who was winnin'
By the half I had nodded in nine!
But I must hand it out to our wingers
They had that poor goalie near deid
The pair o' them fair went thir dingers
When they lobbed -- I jist nodded ma heid!
That goalie was full of dejection
For we kept on increasin' our lead
He aye dived in the other direction
As I nodded it in wi' ma heid!
At the whistle that goalie was greetin'
He never had no chance at all
Twenty goals is how much he was beaten
All by me and my noddin' the ball!
Well, I met that poor goalie next mornin'
And I hoped he would not make a fuss
So I gave him a nod in the passin'
And he went and dived under a bus!!!

Christ Donald that brings back memories. I remember listening to that in the 60's as my old Dad had it on vinyl...superb
