Yeah it was top notch, think we discussed it on Facebook didn't we?

Not quite as good as A Prophet, but they were both cracking films.

We did indeed. A Prophet is quality too, need to watch it again.

Watched 'The Grey' starring Liam Neeson recently. Expected better since I've enjoyed his performances over the last few years. No 5hite but no great either, 6/10 from me.

I went to see The Hunger Games yesterday. I reckon it's probably one of best films I've seen in years. Quite often when I go to the cinema I end up falling asleep watching films. I'd describe it as a mix between Battle Royale and The Running Man. The story has lots of depth to it I think and makes you think about what is happening as opposed to just what you are seeing. I don't really want to give too much away but I thoroughly recommend it.

9/10

Watched the American remake of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo the other night. Phenomenal! I loved the original Swedish film, but this was equally as good. May even be better, but was hard to judge because I knew the script so some parts were not quite so effective second time around.

Highly recommend you see it - the characters are fantastic, and the script is superb. Some very good acting performances in there too.

Same with me, a lot of dross these new films, that said may go and see the Zombie film with Brad Pitt, filmed in Glasgoe last year, watched a wee bit of the filming around George Square....sure I saw Sheepy among the extras, could be mistaken.

(No offence Sheepy just another wee dig)

The first Iron Man film is one of the best of this genre.

You will need to start a new review section on films which states whether it made you gasp for a smoke or not.

Was it an extremely handsome man you saw getting attacked by the zombies? if so then of course it was me

As regards the Avengers fim took my kids in to see it at the weekend, really enjoyed it, great fight scenes, good humour, it had it all

Watched War Horse the other night, thought it was fantastic.

Visually stunning, and pretty touching as well - although I'm a sucker for any heartfelt films involving animals!

Let's be honest, the Hearts story under Romanov would make for much more interesting viewing. Although the Hollywood producers would probably say it was too far fetched

Went to the cinema to see Cabin in the Woods yesterday, to see what all the hype was about.

It was original, and very entertaining. But not quite a 'game changer', as many have been describing it.

Worth a watch though.
