Talbot lost 1-0 away to Hearts in 4th round of Scottish cup on 07/01/12.

Next match is at home against Clydebank on 14/01/12 in the league. Hopefully there will be a bigger crowd than usual as team deserves it.

Talbot coach Derek Anderson is leaving the club to take over St Mirren under 15s.

Left back, Liam McVey, who has won 3 junior cups with the club has been added on to open to transfer list. This is due to this season's arrival of Gordon Pope who has kept him out team.

They did well yesterday. Unfortunately since last week there has been a few issues at club with players going on transfer list, one walking out supposedly and another being unavailable for forseeabale future due to work.

Are there any of the players at Talbot that you think could maybe play at a higher level? Or get some sort of transfer fee for the club?

Your keeper looked decent at Tynecastle, bar the one big error for the goal.
I'll paint this place maroon!

I think quite a few could play at a higher level. The thing is though a lot of them are better off playing for a successful junior club rather than at 2nd or 3rd division level.

Another of our players Bryan Young has been added to transfer list. He is a regular in team but there has been talk of a fall out and that he has been tapped by another team.

Big game today as Talbot host Bo'ness in quarter finals of Scottish Junior Cup. It should be a great game as west meets east for a place in semi final. I'm going and looking forward to it.

Talbot won 2-0 with goals from Faulds and Milliken. A cracking cup tie which was truly a game of two halves. Bo'ness were superb in 1st half but their fitness was not up to much. They'd used their 3 subs with more than 20 mins left. A more than decent crowd too.
