I'm posting from my phone, so I'll copy and paste the full pm later unless Paul could do that. ;)

Oh FFS!

I guess I should be pleased, I'm obsessed with a short, quick passing game and always try and build my team with technically good players to fit into that system - so I could hardly of asked for a better team to get!

Still, a difficult challenge up against Man United, City and Chelsea.

Ehhh, no sure. Maybe just major updates, some will play quicker than others depending on free time etc.

Maybe Craig will give us our own sub-forum on here that only folk that are doing the challenge can start threads in? Anyone can then post, but it could give us our own thread. eg. Robert's Arsenal Challenge.
That means we can update it whenever we've played a few games.

Will speak to Craig about what we could so with this tomorrow before the podcast.

Anyway, just to clarify for anyone who wants to take up the challenge.

It's FM11, version 11.3.0, the team is Arsenal in the English Premier League.

Mine is the same but with a medium database.

Keeper & striker are a must here

Database size shouldn't matter too much since we're Arsenal I guess.

What experience are you guys putting for yourself as manager?

I reckon automatic is best for this challenge.

I can definitely sort out a subforum. It would be more difficult to only allow certain people to create topics

I always start experience as automatically. I usually put my database on huge though. Give you a bigger change of finding a rough diamond.

Already?! Jeez it's definitely lucky we're not playing an online game, I've only just sorted my coaching staff, training regimes and individual training. Tied Nasri down to a new deal, sold Fabianski and Diaby (12m to City!). Not even played a friendly yet or made a signing, and yes I DO play all my friendlies...

Right, time to get started.
I should manage to play for about 15 minutes before my wife realises I'm enjoying myself and tells me to stop.

im stuck on FM10, but i think that Laurie, PB and Robert Kelly have started. Laurie gave it a wee punt via the podcast, so that will help publicise it.
