What's your preference then? I was PES until FIFA 10 when it was far better, and have been FIFA since then. Don't think I'll be changing back any time soon if I'm honest.

I have owned two copies of pes and I do appreciate the arcade feel, but FIFA has always been better, IMO.
FIFA is out on my birthday, so that's the present I am looking for from the mrs.

PES 06 was the game, the rest were pretty poor
Even with the players names, Stillian Pelekov & Neil Lemon

PES 4 was the peak for me. Downhill ever since with 11 being laughably poor.

I've downloaded the FIFA 12 demo, but not had a chance to play it yet. I'm off today, so might squeeze in a cheeky wee half hour.

Its far superior than PES that was not always the case though! PES struggled to make the leap to the next gen consoles. Fifa thrived on it and have improved the game massively over the last few years.
Having played both demos for the 2012 installments i see nothing to change my mind, the only thing that pisses me off is the tackling in Fifa 12 as soon as you commit to a stand up challenge that is your player out the game if the tackle is not a success. People may say that's more realistic but........ its just down right annoying, like all recent Fifa games it will take a few weeks/months to master then it wont be a problem.
I'm excited about the release, will wait to see which supermarket is doing it cheapest and go there for midnight launch, quite sad but i love my Fifa!
Maybe in the future we could have a wee SFF league going online......................?

I would be up for a FIFA league. Every league needs a whipping boy.
