From BBC;

Backs to the wall defending at the Emirates. By Arsenal. Shrewsbury are rampant at the moment and are looking to build on their lead.

If Arsenal are defeated, it would be one of the biggest upsets in recent times.

I was reading that Wenger will have money to spend in January. Why was he not given it in the summer?

I think the money was there in summer but they left it late selling Fabregas and Nasri.

Well they are level at half time, presume they will go on and win it now. I think the money has always been there to be honest, Arsene just seems to treat it like it's his own cash - just doesn't want to spend it!

Half times;

Aldershot 0-1 Rochdale
Arsenal 1-1 Shrewsbury
Aston Villa 0-0 Bolton
Blackburn 0-0 Leyton Orient
Burnley 0-1 MK Dons
Crystal Palace 1-0 Middlesbrough
Leeds 0-3 Man Utd
Nott'm Forest 0-1 Newcastle
Stoke 0-0 Tottenham
Wolves 3-0 Millwall

Arsenal are winning at least, still only 2-1 mind you. Bolton ahead away to Villa, Forest and Newcastle currently 2-2. Wolves and Man United both still leading 3-0 and into the next round pretty much.

Crystal Palace beat Cardiff 1-0 with a goal from Gardner in their 1st leg semi final. Both teams are managed by Scots. Dougie Freedman at Palace and Malky Mackay at Cardiff. Kevin McNaughton, Don Cowie and Kenny Miller all started for Cardiff. David Marshall and Craig Conway were both on the bench for Cardiff.

Man City host Liverpool tomorrow in 1st leg of other semi.
