OK guys, so the latest podcast is now online - http://www.scottishf...-zonal-marking/
What are the thoughts on this one, and how they are going so far?
I really want us to keep the time down to 45 minutes, and I'm hoping we will get in the habit of doing so, but other than that I think they are going reasonably well.
One thing I'm trying to get in more is lots of contributions from the forum, after all it IS the Scottish Football Forums podcast and I like the idea of being able to get across the opinions and thoughts of the members as well as the people speaking on the podcast itself.

This was the first one I had done without have a beer and/or a whisky in my hand, but it still went well.
Laurie was particularly funny in this one, especially as he shoehorns O'Connors drug troubles into an otherwise unrelated topic.
I think 45 minutes is key, but I like that its naturally longer, simply due to a conversation taking a natural deviation.

You may have noticed I cut out a fair bit of my thoughts on zonal marking, Greig's added thoughts on Motherwell and my further thoughts on Hearts. Just because they weren't key topics this week, and I felt I spoke a little too much on the marking - it would have pushed the whole thing to almost an hour 20 if I hadn't made the changes.

I enjoy listening to them every week. I've not listened to this one yet but will do over the weekend. I think they flow well and both Craig and Laurie do great as hosts. One thing I do know is that they are difficult to take part in, I have taken criticism on board about my performance and next time I get chance to take part I will try to do better. I was nervous when I took part and didn't want to interrupt Laurie and Craig speaking which is why I was so quiet at times. I was waiting to get prompted to speak where as I should have contributed as and when I had something to say.

Urinating seems to be a recurring topic after this week's episode ;)
I just hope that nobody thinks that our podcasts are a load of pish...

It was one of the highlights. Thought Greig was a good guest again.
