Here I will post a recommended free bet each week. Taking you through the bookmakers offer and telling you exactly what to bet on, with how much and what your exact profit should be! Some may be in several parts. Feel free to comment, and post any matched betting bets you have done in here!

Now I will help you get started this week with a step by step guide for a Stake not Returned bet this weekend! A stake not returned free bet is where the stake of your bonus amount is not returned with any winnings. Make sure you have read and understood at least our first 7 tutorials before you do this though.

The Stake not returned free bet I will now take you through is William Hill – sign up here. Enter code F25 when registering, and set the odds format to decimal. Sign up to Betfair here, and enter code 6Y4D6EFPF to get a cash bonus of £25. You will need no more than £300 to guarantee around £20 profit on this bet. Deposit at William Hill using Moneybookers, however deposit the remaining £275 into Betfair by card if it is your first deposit (to get the bonus).

It is important to make sure you check the terms and conditions for the minimum odds in particular and whether you are allowed to deposit with Moneybookers, at William Hill you need to bet on at least 1.2 to qualify for your bonus and it is fine to deposit with moneybookers.

Montenegro v England
As much as it may pain you to bet on England, matched betting is all about finding a small difference between the backing odds at the bookmaker and laying odds at Betfair. Also we will then unlock our free £25 bet once the matched has finished and be able to place it on the Scotland game which is the following evening!

Now, check the odds because they may have changed since writing this, if so just enter in the new values into the betting calculator ‘Stake not returned’ which can be downloaded here. We will be backing England at Will Hill, they are at 1.73 and we want to bet £25. Now lay England to win at 1.76 at Betfair to win £25, your liability should be £19. You should lose £0.75 overall if England win or £0.25 if they don’t, but unlock a £25 free bet!

This match will have to settle before you get your free bet, so on Saturday morning we will place our free bet, probably on the Scotland game, on a correct score. Due to the way Betfair works it is a bit early to find a good bet for Sunday, so I will post the second part of this bet on Saturday. We place our free bet on a market with higher odds (typically 7-12) because we don’t get our stake back on our free bet, it helps maximize our return and limit the capital needed to make the bet!

Good luck, not that you need it!

The odds have changed on the England game. Back England with £25 at 1.80 at William Hill, Lay England to win £25 at 1.82 at Betfair. Overall you will lose £0.50 if England win and £0.25 if they don't.

Now for some ideas for the free bet to use after this game has settled:

Option 1: Liechtenstein v Scotland - This games does not have a particularly good bet with close odds of 7-12. Expected return would be worst case £17.55, best case is £22.15.
- Back Scotland to win 2-0 at 6.0 with your £25 free bet.
- Lay Scotland to win 2-0 at 6.4 at Betfair to win £19.
- If Scotland win 2-0 you will be up £22.40 (- the £0.50 or £0.25 loss on the England game)
- If Scotland don't win 2-0 you will be up £18.05 (- the £0.50 or £0.25 loss on the England game)
- Worst case scenario for final profit is £17.55, best case is £22.15.

Option 2: Find your own bet. A Horse race tomorrow would be ideal. Use Odds Monkey to help you find a bet.

England did not win their match, and Scotland did not win 2-0 so our profit on this free bet with Will Hill was £17.80.

Now I will help you get started with a step by step guide for a Stake Returned bet this tomorrow for the last of the qualifiers! A stake returned free bet is where the bonus amount is returned with any winnings from your bet – however you will normally have to wager a certain amount of times. Make sure you have read and understood at least our first 8 tutorials before you do this bet.

You will need no more than £300 to guarantee around £20 profit on this bet. But it will probably significantly less.

The Stake returned free bet I will now take you through is BWIN – sign up here, set the odds format to decimal and deposit £25 via Moneybookers - this will then be doubled by BWIN to £50. Sign up to Betfair here, and enter code 6Y4D6EFPF to get a cash bonus of £25. Deposit the remaining £275 into Betfair (by card if its your first deposit as you can’t get your cash bonus with Moneybookers on your first deposit).

It is important to make sure you check the terms and conditions for the minimum odds, the wagering requirements and whether you are allowed to deposit with Moneybookers in particular. At BWIN there are no minimum odds, it is fine to deposit with Moneybookers and wagering requirements are 3 x deposit + bonus (£150) before a withdrawal can be made. But if our first bet loses, or our BWIN balances reaches £0, we are up in Betfair and we don’t have to do anything else.

Spain v Scotland
We will be backing Spain at BWIN at 1.18 with £50, and laying England at Betfair at 1.20 to win £46. This will mean if Spain win we will be down £1 at BWIN, but have to do some more wagering. If Spain don’t win, so it is a draw or Scotland win we will lose £2.50 overall but have no more bets to do and our final profit will be £22.50 which we will be up in Betfair.

If Spain win I will post an idea for the next part of the bet in here for a weekend game, but lets hope it doesn’t come to that!

Unfortunately Spain won, so we are down £1 from our £25 bonus which has already been credited in our BWIN account.
We have wagered £50, and the total needed to make a withdrawal is £150, so £100 left.
We have £59 in our BWIN account so this is what we will wager next and if it loses we are finished, if our bet wins we have to wager a further £41 to withdraw any winnings.

Kilmarnock v Celtic
This weekend we will back Celtic to win away at Kilmarnock.
Back Celtic to win at 1.40 at BWIN with £59.
Lay Celtic to win at 1.41 at Betfair to win £58.

If Celtic don't win we will lose £3.90 off of the £24 we are currently up, and have no more wagering to do so our final profit will be £21.10.
If Celtic do win we will lose £0.18 off the £24 we are currently up but have one last bet to do!

Hello everyone,

This week you will learn how to profit from a ‘Risk Free’ free bet offer from bookmakers. A risk free bet is where the stake of your first bet is returned to you IF your first bet loses. You should make sure you understand tutorials 1-6 and 10 before doing this.

We will be using Betclic’s £30 risk free bet to look to make at least £20 and you will need to more than £160 to do this. It is important to check the terms and conditions of the bookmaker to ensure they are met. In particular we will look for; minimum odds to qualify – at Betclic there are none, whether you can deposit with Moneybookers – you can, if your first bet loses do you have to wager the returned stake – you don’t, if your first bet loses your stake will be refunded and you can simply make a withdrawal.

Now because we only get our moneyback if our first bet loses, we need to adjust how we make our bet to maximize our profit. This is done simply by betting on higher odds (like we do for our free bet on stake not returned bonuses).

So sign up to Betclic here and deposit £30 via Moneybookers and set the odds format to decimal. (IF you don’t have a Betfair account, sign up here and enter code 6Y4D6EFPF to get an extra £25 cash bonus from Betfair too). Make sure you have around £130 in your Betfair account.

Fulham v Everton
We will be betting on the result at half time and full time (HT/FT) – to be a draw at half time, and Fulham to win after full time.
We will back this with £30 at Betclic at odds of 6.0.
We will then lay this at Betfair to win £21 at odds of 6.4 .

This will mean if it is a draw at half time and Fulham end up winning we will be up £36.60 overall, if it is not then we will be up £19.95. Either way, withdraw the remaining money in Betclic and then go make some more money at a different bookmaker!

(Alternatively you can lay Draw/Fulham at Betfair to win £23.62. This will mean (after commission) you will be up £22.45 no matter what the result.)

£100 will not be far away, especially when we start doing £50 + free bets!

This week I will take you through a Stake not Returned bet this weekend! A stake not returned free bet is where the stake of your bonus amount is not returned with any winnings. Make sure you have read and understood at least our first 7 tutorials before you do this though.

The Stake not returned free bet I will now take you through is Coral – sign up here and set the odds format to decimal. Sign up to Betfair here, and enter code 6Y4D6EFPF to get a cash bonus of £25. You will need no more than £300 to guarantee around £25 profit on this bet. Make sure your Betfair account has around £270 in.

It is important to make sure you check the terms and conditions for the minimum odds in particular and whether you are allowed to deposit with Moneybookers. At Coral there are no minimum odds to qualify for your bonus and it is fine to deposit with moneybookers.
Aberdeen v Rangers – (Live on ESPN at 12.00)
Now, check the odds because they may have changed since writing this, if so just enter in the new values into the betting calculator ‘Stake not returned’ which can be downloaded here. We will be backing Rangers with £30 at Coral at odds of 1.53. Now lay Rangers to win at 1.56 at Betfair to win £30, your liability should be £16.80. You should lose £0.90 overall if Rangers win or £1.50 if they don’t, but unlock a £30 free bet!

Free bets are applied to your account on a next day basis, so hopefully we will be able to use the free bet for some of Sundays games. I will post an idea for using the free bet tomorrow.

Sorry for the delay in getting this up, there weren't great odds around. Coral isn't the best for long odds, so if you want to get a higher profit margin I suggest you look at horses (the odds only go up each day so I can't post them)....

Rangers won so we have lost £0.90 but unlocked the £30 free bet.
Now we will be using the free bet in the Champions League game, Arsenal v Marseille.
At Coral place the £30 free bet on the correct score being 1-1 at odds of 7.5.
At Betfair, lay the correct score being 1-1 to win £23 at odds 8.2.

Taking into account our £0.90 loss on the qualifying bet;
If it is 1-1, we will be up £28.50 overall.
If it is not 1-1, we will be up £20.95 overall.

Better than a poke in the eye.

This week you will learn how to profit from a ‘Risk Free’ free bet offer from bookmakers. A risk free bet is where the stake of your first bet is returned to you IF your first bet loses. You should make sure you understand tutorials 1-6 and 10 before doing this.

We will be using 188Bet £25 risk free bet to look to make around £19 and you will need to more than £175 to do this. It is important to check the terms and conditions of the bookmaker to ensure they are met. In particular we will look for; minimum odds to qualify – at 188Bet there are none, whether you can deposit with Moneybookers – you can, if your first bet loses do you have to wager the returned stake – you don’t, if your first bet loses your stake will be refunded and you can simply make a withdrawal.

Blackburn v Chelsea
We will be backing Blackburn to win at 188Bet and laying them at Betfair.
We will back Blackburn with £25 at 188Bet at odds of 7.20.
We will then lay Blackburn at Betfair to win £20 at odds of 7.8.

This will mean that no matter what the result we will be up £19. If however the odds change, or you think Blackburn may win, Lay with a little less. Just enter the odds, stake, and potential win into the betting calculator and you’ll be away.

If Blackburn don’t win, then you need to send an email to promo@188bet.com, quoting code ‘NU125’ and your account details to claim your money back.

My progress was going well until I got to ComeOn! I deposited £20 and received my 100% welcome bonus. I proceeded to bet the 4x deposit + bonus at odds of 2.0 and over as required before you can withdraw. I bet and laid all £160, winning £180, before I realised that the T&Cs have been changed so that only combo bets count. I had a long argument with the help centre over the disputable wording on their site, which ended in them saying they wouldn't do anything to help and that I had to bet the full £160 on combo bets or cancel my bonus and withdraw just £90. I have decided to put on a number of combo bets and hope for the best. Anyway, steer clear of ComeOn! because you can't match combo bets.

Unfortunately the terms do change without us realising sometimes, so we can't update the website and this is why we do always say to read the terms and conditions. I have now removed Comeon! from The Gold TIger. What has happened to you is unfortunate, but a lesson learnt and actually you will probably still come out of this up.. You need to bet £160 combi, and have £180 in your account so just do one combi bet of £160. Anyway good luck with it.
