A long way to go, but you would much rather be there than be Dundee at the moment

Might be interesting if we potentially had a new SPL side next year, one which hasn't been there before - but at the same time not sure I fancy away trips to Victoria Park if I'm honest...

It's only 15 minutes from Inverness and if ICT get relagated then not much extra travelling ;-)

It would be great for the area and the derby would be brilliant..........going back to Laurie's post about travel.....the Central belt bias does annoy me sometimes when last season games were postponed in Inverness becuase of the "travelling support" even though there was no snow in Inverness. A game would never be postponed due to travelling fans having to travel South. You'll seldom (if ever) hear a County or ICT fan complaining about all the travelling they have to do for away games.......Jock climbs back off soap box ;-)

It would be good to see Ross County promoted as they have not been in SPL before. What does attendance tend to be?

County have a great support (actually bigger then ICT) and probably average 2200/2500 a game. If an SPL club draw County in a cup game it is always close to a sell out........I remember the year we were relegated, the last game of the season against Gretna was a 6000 sell out even though we were already down.
Great result today as well 8-)

They are pacemakers at the moment but pacemakers usually always tire.

County are doing ok but will they sack Adams if they go into freefall like Dundee or sweat it out ?

Dundee sacked Jocky Scott when they were top of the league.......something tells me County have more sense ;-)

I guess you just need to hope that Adams does not leave for a 2nd time.

You would hope he will show some loyalty after being given a second chance to manage club.

Just an add on....I checked this morning and only the Partick Thistle v Falkirk game had a higher gate than County at the weekend in the First Division.

It would be interesting to see if Ross County got promoted if they could get regular crowds of 6,000.
