Episode 18 - Scotland, SPL restructure and SPL preview
#1
Posted 14 November 2011 - 11:05 PM
We started off with the Scotland game, before discussing Steven Pressley's recent comments on an SPL restructure.
Paul Band's choice for this weeks charity bet is for St Mirren vs Dunfermline to finish 0-0. £5 will be placed at the bookies when I can get odds on that scoreline.
We also preview the upcoming SPL games.
The podcast will hopefully be released tomorrow evening, or at some point on Wednesday.

Yeah, maybe just skip last week's mate - in fact, it's even more negative this time around

To be fair mate, I do usually suggest we get you on when Scotland are playing, just to inject a bit of positivity. I did read out some of your forum comments that were positive too!
I wish I didn't feel this way any more, but I just tell it how I see it - I'm hardly inspiring about my club side's performances either though!

Hearts are even more negative than Scotland. At least the national team now plays with a striker ha

I don't know what's worse to be honest, passing it around with no end product or not being able to string two passes together and having one striker. It's a tough one, but watching neither side is very entertaining right now...

I can't remember Scotland ever play entertaining football to be honest. I think though Levein is trying to change things so we keep possession better. It might take time though.

Yeah we should probably do a proper focused one, it wasn't exactly completely planned or thorough - I just pulled a few things off the forum.

Well some of the main threads are:
Whats your view on a two tier SPL?
Your league reconstruction alternative
10 team SPL
Michael Johnston: selfish, idiotic, ignorant or deceptive?
League Reconstruction?
New idea for SPL reconstruction!
I'm sure there are many more, but in a quick search of my posts on "spl reconstruction" I found those.
