I'm hoping by starting threads in particular for teams outside of old firm it will encourage more varied chat.

Most seemed to have Dunfermline down as relegation favourites before season started. They had a good start to the season but have struggled a bit recently. I think most think at end of the season they will get relegated but they are doing better than was expected.

He wasn't that great at us. He was better at Dundee United.

Jim McIntyre sacked by the Pars.

I'm surprised too. The Pars havent set the SPl alight, but what do the board expect?

They probably think if they get someone new in they might be able to stay up.

Could be Calderwood, but I reckon Jim Jefferies should be put in place ASAP if they have any chance of staying up

Yes that most likely is the thinking, it is however a big ask of any new guy...that said the way Hibs are playing you never know

I keep saying that I think Hibs have the quality to pull away from Dunfermline. The longer it goes though doubts will creep in plus they may have one eye on the cup.

Anyone else find it odd to sack someone on a Friday? What changed between last weekend after another defeat through the rest of the week? Obviously they didn't have a game this weekend, but still... seems weird.

Talk on Twitter that Dunfermline are speaking with Jeffries but he is looking for a longer deal than the club are currently offering, talks are to continue later in the week.
