Those running the game need to realise that they need to take a step backwards to go forwards. It's true that in the short term a larger league would produce less revenue per club but it's the only way to save Scottish football in the longer term.

Businesses rely on money to operate. Cut their income and more will fail and not just because they live outwith their means.

Clubs are not making great money at the moment anyway. There needs to be more focus on youth and better coaching and then our game will improve. Fans are fed up watching their team play the same team up to seven times a season.
