For me it was Mark Cavendish winning the green jersey at the Tour de France. Outside of football it's got to be one of the best sporting event of the year.

First 15 or so mins at Kilmarnock last May....Others...like Hayza...Hurricane Fly in the Champion Hurdle but also Long Run in the Gold Cup. But probably this years 2000Gns when I lumped Frankel to win by 4 lengths or more & he duly obliged coming in 6 lengths in front of the 2nd horse...a truly wonder horse as was Sea the Stars the year afore.
