Loads of SPL clubs have their own threads so just thought I'd start one for Dundee since we are in SPL club in all but on-paper.

We've recently got Gavin Rae's contract extended which is fantastic news.

Nice one Forza. That is good news for the club.

Do you reckon you'll win the replay against Killie?

Before the first game I felt we had a good chance if we played well. Turned out we played well and dominated but couldn't get the win. Think I'll just say I'm feeling the same about the replay. Confident but not over-confident.

It will certainly be a tough match. I guess though main focus is on trying to catch up with Ross County in the league though.

Fancy Killie in the replay but no doubt Dundee will make it difficult for them. Their (Dundee's) rightback played well in the game at Dens...

Yeah Irvine.

We did have two of our best players, Weston and Riley, missing for the last game. They could make a big difference in the replay as well.

Is Riley the boy who was at Celtic?

Aye, came through the Celtic youth system I think.

Right... what?! How do you figure that? You haven't played in the SPL since 2005. I'm away to start a Gretna thread... ;-)

I like the idea of the topic, but I was also a bit confused by the SPL club bit.

Dundee are an SPL sized club but play in the First Division.

Don't you mean Dundee are an SPL sized club that HAS been run by incompetents? (allegedly)

I've said it before but I like Dundee waaaaay more than I should as a Hearts fan.

Always enjoyed a trip to Dens Park, and I'd like them to be back in the SPL, apart from anything it offered another big fixture against United, and we don't have enough PROPER derby matches in our league.
I'll paint this place maroon!

Ahh, fair enough then. You could probably say the same about Falkirk. Another argument for a bigger SPL :-)

Yes a bigger SPL would be good but we all know nobody pays any attention to the fans views.

Dundee 2-0 up with Falkirk and County drawing at the moment.......the gap could be down to 3 with County having two games in hand (away to Ayr and home to Thistle)
