A classic film tonight for me.
Michael madsen is on big brother and I still cannot believe that someone of his stature has done it, so it sent me back to reservoir dogs, that I must have seen at least ten times, but haven't seen in years.
The start of a blinding career by Tarantino, although not many reach the heights that this does. Not many films can rely so heavily on so few characters, but tarantino's effortless switch from banter to serious dialogue does the trick

He may be a limited actor, but he still does a certain role very well. Superb in reservoir dogs and brilliant in kill bill.

He certainly doesn't have much in the way of range, and I'd say has a typecast that hasn't really been broken.
But he does get A LOT of work, and whilst much of it hasn't been fantastic and by no means is he a great actor by any stretch of the imagination, I do think he offers something in the right role - however limited that may be!

I think jape is saying he is rubbish because he has little range, whereas I appreciate that he can do one character very well.
Overall that probably makes him a poor actor, but I still appreciate what he does.
