On BBC4 at 00:50 they are showing a Nirvana gig. It is a Halloween concert recorded at the Paramount in Seattle from 1991.

I never ever gave Jules Holland a chance but after the New Year show I'll be watching at every opportunity. I always knew he was a good musician but I didn't see much of his shows. That night was excellent, maybe a one off but we really enjoyed it.

I always enjoy Jools due to the variety of acts. There will usually be at least one act you will enjoy.

Jools is brillaint Bundy...he showcases some well known folk but more importantly, for me, it's the unknowns....it's a right good listen

Who is your best discovery on Jools?

My favourite was Band of Horses.

The black boy that had the hat on in the new year show was superb. He had a fantastic voice. Some stuff isn't great but there was some really good stuff that Mrs Bundy liked, especially Caro Emerald

I think you are thinking of Aloe Blacc. I have his album which is pretty decent. He started off as a rapper but he has a really soulful sounding voice.

Not at all Jay. He was good but the boy I'm thinking of weighed nearly twice as much and had a better soul voice. Sam something I think

Edit to say, it was Gregory Porter.

Joooooooooooools is the man Bundy . Can't believe you just discovered the Hoot-a-nanny this year , he's been doing it for years and if i don't catch it on the night i always make a point of watching it on catch-up . There was a Later special last night with just REM . Fell asleep watching it though . BBC4 Friday nights are usually good for music shows .
