Some how canny see the man hittin 71.. Looks no 2 well now.

What gets me Charlie is the way he is paraded about in public & has been for a few years now...terrible to see anyone like that. Privacy is what the chap needs imo as his legacy will stand for all time.

There is a good feature in this week's Shortlist magazine. If you don't get the magazine then I'd imagine it will be on their website.

Yes Jock " Cassius Clay" Muhammed Ali is without question a true sporting legend. Unlikely we will ever see anyone like him again.

Agree with Dog, the way he is paraded around these days is awful.

He is as he called himself "the Greatest".. well a close second to John Greig :razz:

Thinking about Cassius Clay..... I recall a lifetime ago seeing Sonny Liston in the Garrion Hotel Motherwell, he was in residence there preparing for an exhibition bout in the Kelvin Hall.. a big big man.

I've seen dead pools done on other forums which I always thought was bad taste.
