I'd didn't think Falkirk caused much danger either to be honest. Nice passing at times, but rarely went anywhere. Their equaliser was a gift from Wanyama and Izaguirre and their own chance of the first half. A double save in the second half and the one Fulton blazed over the bar before the Celtic second goal was about it from them.

The penalty was stupid. There's man-handling that rarely gets given and then there's whatever Dods was trying to do. Looked like a poor rugby tackle. The offside goal was a dreadful decision as well, he's barely off when the ball comes back off the post let alone when it was first struck. The linesman guessed it - I had time to look at him and back to see Hooper score it before he put his flag up.

Great free kick from Stokes, despite all the moaning about the wall and the goalkeeper, and excellent work by Hooper for the third. Add to that the number of times Rogne hit the woodwork and you have to wonder why anyone would suggest Falkirk deserved anything more than they got.

saves me posting....says it all....

but praise for falkirk for trying to play football, some good players there and maybe they can push on and catch ross county....pressley should have tried to see the penalty incident before he went mental and certainly before the FT interview, but other than that he looks like he's doing a good job.
Faithful through and through

Just back from the game & i thought the ref as a disgrace. He gave every decision he could to celtic. I know celtic had a good goal chopped off but that was the linesman how gave that decision. When u consider the huge difference in the players budget at both clubs then only 1 side comes out with any plaudits!! A bit like to 2009 cup final, 1 team played football but the other team won  . No Celtic players booked but our 2 centre midfielders get booked for their 1st fouls - very biased decisions!!!

No trouble caused to the celtic full backs, canter for the centre backs & the keeper didnt have a save to make...The midfield were always in control....

....all in a comfortable sunday stroll in the park...free flowing top stuff from the hoops

Think theres a few Celtic supporters not giving Falkirk the credit they deserve . Some if their passing play was outstanding . They tried to play football out of defence and mostly succeeded . Hinginbottim was by far the best player on the pitch and Celtic didnt look comfortable at all untill the tgird goal went in .

Falkirks defence let them down Dods is their mosr senior player and should have known better . But the backline couldnt cope with Stokes and Hooper . Not many in Scotland can though . To say Falkirk were never a threat is just biased arrogance . Nothing unusual there though .

Falkirk were decent and credit to them for trying to play football the proper way (in my opinion). Celtic however never looked in any danger of losing, they hit the woodwork 3 times, had a handball in the box waived away and scored a good goal which was disallowed. It looked to me as though they could have stepped up a couple of gears if required, rather similar to the game against Dunfermline recently actually. In any case, cup semi finals are rarely an entertaining affair and the performance is irrelevant, only the score truly matters in a semi final.

Looking forward to the first Domestic cup final now, first part of the treble hopefully.
