Folowing on from a previous thread what tv dramas have you watched that you really enjoyed or moved you, and why?

The bloody sunday drama I watched last night, that really moved me and I thought it was very well done

Jimmy McGovern's Hillsborough disaster is a must watch too

The six episodes plus the pilot for Boys from the Blackstuff...powerful stuff.

I have the Killing 2 on ma V+ box haven't got around to watching it yet . Band of brothers was excellent as was The Pacific .

Right now i think Sherlock is excellent and Game of Thrones and Boardwalk Empire are too .

Band of Brothers was superb , i have not seen the ones about Bloody Sunday and Hillsborough so will have to check it out as they sound interesting.

Boys from the blackstuff was brilliant . Probably the best drama series ever made in Britain . GBH is another that was great haven't checked but i think McGovern wrote both .

BOB was superb but The Pacific was poor in comparison. I really fancied Boardwalk Empire but we're on Virgin Media

I'm hoping for a chap at the door anytime soon . A wee stretch in the pokey would do me the world of good . Nae drink and 3 squares every day .....are you kidding . Plus i hear they have Wi-Fi inside these days so download any films you want ......sorted . :razz:

First two series were excellent Jay, first one particularly. One of the last shows I went out of my way not to miss
