no employee would come out and tell the whole truth about an owner, that is clearly playing his cards close to his chest, especially when it would likely jeopardise their job

What it comes down to is the rules stated that Aberdeen were due compensation for the player, you might not like it but as I'm sure you've said yourself on a few occasions, they're the rules...unless of course that can only be said when it suits what your opinion is but surely not as that could be seen as being hypocritical

Rules are rules, BOTH old firm teams are usually all over the rule book with their top lawyers to squirm out of things (Lennon;'s consecutive ban anyone?), it was nice for a non OF team to reverse the trend
