Seriously, it's a good question - but if Healy's run in the team lets him get back to the player he was a few years ago then that might be the answer. Remember him? The one who could score against Spain?!

David Healy's club form has rarely lived up to his international performances.
He was decent enough in the Championship, and I remember him having a few good games for Leeds. But he never really performed in the top flight, and hasn't ever convinced me at club level on a consistent basis.
Maybe this is his time to shine though! SPL could be his ideal level.

Have to say i quite agree, i think it is a bit of a myth that Healy is an out and out goal scorer as his record is pretty poor. Granted he has an excellent record at International level which is very impressive considering he plays for Northern Ireland, look at our own record goal scorer for Scotland King Kenny & Dennis Law who played in far superior teams than Healy did, so he must have something to offer.
As Laurie pointed out the SPL may just be his level, he has been getting a consistent run of games recently and has managed to put a few in the net so perhaps we have yet to see the best of him in a Rangers jersey....fingers crossed.

Ortiz was apparently good at right back or right midfield. Ally played him on the left of midfield

Aye, it's not rocket science that players play well in their best position. McCoist doesn't seem to agree though.
