The boy was entitled to go for it. MacGregor maybe shouldn't have been booked initially, but he then told Willie to fck-off, so that's a booking anyway. The one that got away with it was Goian. Being held back as he went after Lacny, right in front of Collum. Lol - totally laughable he didn't even get spoken to.

Anyway. Fck it. United were immense today but I'm actually pissed off that everyone sounds so surprised. Not me, I saw this result coming a month ago. No offence, but Stephen Thompson (St Mirren player, not United charmain) summed it up by saying he would have preffered the United bench today, as a manager, rather than the Gers one because it lacked so much quality.

Well done United for at last going there and playing with no fear. Maybe now they are realising there is nothing to be scared of.

I didnt realise that McGregor was booked for language. I thought Lacny had every right to go for it as well.

I am surprised that you are surprised that everyone is surprised that United played well. United's recent form (Airdrie aside) wasnt exactly brilliant going into this.

Taken at the game today. I know the banner was a witty retort to the Celtic fans at Inverness yesterday, but the unfortunate positioning makes this a cracker of a comedy moment.

not read all of the posts, not had time

managed to see all the first half and 15mins of 2nd

said in my earlier posts,pre-game, that united were more than capable of winning this (although i did take 1-1) and so it proved to be so

united were, for the 60mins i seen better all over the park, they pressed rangers, they moved the ball around and they made rangers work....i genuinely didnt think the disallowed goal should have been disallowed..thought it was a 50-50 ball there to be won...but therafter only one team was going to score the opening goal....great header, bad defending...but give Gunning credit, he made the space for himself....2nd goal was a tremendously worked team goal....aluko was unlucky with his bit of skill and healy's attempt brought out a great save from Pernis...but after that i cant honestly recall another genuine rangers chance.

whether it's pertinent to team performance is not for me to say but the off-field problems hace certainly impacted on the fans if only 1700 turned up today...the cry's of sticking together, unity will see us through etc seem to have fallen on a few thousand deaf ears.
Faithful through and through

good result for the gers today , ally must be pleased they only conceded 2 ( well done ally)

poor performance from united , few players needing a kick up the arse with the result today , should have been at least 4 or 5

get your act together united ffs or you wont win anything ( like some other glasgow team haha )

I as a Rangers fan will also take any victory wherever shagger or did ye think that Bears are above that? Personally ah don't give a fuck if Shire fans or whoever are dancin' in the streets of wherever.... :D

and dancing in the streets they are indeed. incidentally, I see Jelavic got the last thirty minutes of the Wigan game yesterday
