Got another dog today. Rescue from dogs trust. My other dog 'Gus' had to have a couple of visits with her prior to us rehoming her supposedly to see that they get on but I think just to make sure that they probably won't kill each other.

She's 3 and a half, called Shira but we have been advised to change the name. Girlfriend is touting Georgie, I'm no too fussed what we call her but we'll probably plump for a name before the night is out.

Good man Gus.....Best place to go for a dog. We got our one from the Dogs Trust @ West Calder nearly 9 years ago when has 4 and a half, First day we got home wi him he went mental running about the back (we've got a rather large garden) then into the house, up the stairs and jumped on the bed and lay down
....made himsel right at home.

She's settled in well too. They told us not to worry is she doesn't eat within the first 72 hours (she ate within 2-3 hours) and she might not want petted and fussed over until she gets to know us but she's been fine on that score too.

So far, so good although the 2 kittens will probably tell you a different story
