Good to see John Hughes back in management. Interesting team with John Collins coming in as Director of Football as well.

The director approach rarely works in UK football, but apart from that it is a very strong management team

I'd like to see John Collins involved in Scotland set up.
They must be spending a bit of cash bringing that pair in.

Any particular reason?
His spell at Hibs seemed to indicate that he has very little in the way of man management skills, and the entire team even ended up going behind his back and complaining about not only his methods, but his tactics too.
Undoubtedly a fantastic footballer, and seems to know his stuff - but how well he can apply that yet I'm not sure.
Maybe this role will be good for him though.
I'll paint this place maroon!

I'd like him involved as he has experience of playing abroad, comes across well and also he is supposed to be good on the fitness side. I think he was similar to Le Guen at Rangers in that players did not like the idea of them concentrating on football as opposed to being out on the lash. They were not prepared to accept his training methods and culture change.

I agree with you to an extent, but from what I heard during his time there, he seemed very arrogant and maybe didn't put his methods in place in the best way.
He was quite young though, and inexperienced as a manager, so maybe in time he can develop that side of it.
