The original home was at Shawfield wasn't it?
East Kilbride must be largest town not to have a football team in SPL/SFL setup.

Shawfield was home when I was a kid. East Kilbride was always the preferred next choice but the rug was pulled from under a deal at the last minute years ago and the gypsies started moving. Firhill, New Douglas Park, and Broadwood were new homes but EK has been rumoured on and off for years. A great catchment area with plenty of folk who are more associated with the origins of the club living nearby.
