ermmm, does that not say something?...think someone would be selling me short if my ideals were compromised for the sake of a football team....so i guess, then, that would make me feel betrayed hence my reasoning.
Betrayed ? Really . Betrayed enough to throw away your thinking that your country should be independent ? . Are you sure ? . Does independence mean that little to you that the foibles of political party's or individuals can make you change them 100% . Maybe you didn't think long enough eh .

I'm still confused as to how only 1 person has voted YES that Rangers should get help, but 2 have said that EVERY company/individual should then receive help...? :wtf:

Go on, own up, who wants everyone to get help, apart from Rangers??

trying hard not to swear......independence to me IS the future but the only party that will give a chance for independence are the SNP....sure we agree on that.....therefore, as it has been mr salmonds voice that has said the words that scottish government will look to do all they can to ensure rangers survive then surely if within that party they decide to squander money on that then it would be morally wrong?

you seem to miss points left right and centre when it suits and deliberatley read between the lines at other times.....

so yes, i would feel betrayed that a party i trusted to show that independence was a very real and proper way forward would then go against my own beliefs of why i supported said party for years.....so my thinking that my country should be independent is and has been based on the snp doing the right thing.......is bailing out rangers the right thing?

youve already said no, so could you then trust that party not to squander more?...

and i know you said that get independence and vote snp/salmond out but where does that leave us....with parties that never believed we could and should go it alone in the first place....

all hypothetical but, isnt it...?

Where does that leave us ? . Don't know where it leaves you but me ..... I will do all i can to bring about an independent Scotland . I will never sway from that objective . The SNP can do what they like as long as they stick to their promise of a referendum . When that referendum happens and if the people of Scotland vote for Independence there will no doubt be an election soon after to decide who governs the country . And if between then and now the SNP have done things i find unacceptable ....... I wont vote for them . The party's who stand in said election will be standing on the basis that Scotland is an independent country . The people have spoken so what they believed before independence is immaterial they cannot change the fact that the people of Scotland wanted independence . It's simple really use the only party who will deliver the means to an end and when that end is delivered use your vote to for change if that's what you want to do . They call it democracy . Much vaunted but rarely allowed .

That would be me. I answer No to Q1. That immediately makes Q2 unanswerable. But you have to put something or the poll complains, so I took it to mean that if Rangers did get help then should everyone get help. Obviously the answer to that must be yes to maintain fairness across all clubs.
