The game is live on Sky Sports at 12:45 on Sunday. I am going for a 2-0 victory to St Johnstone in the predictor.

Others on the podcast went for draws

Laurie 1-1
Greig 1-1
Krys 0-0

I've gone for 1-0 to continue our unbeaten start to 2012. Gavin Rae set to make his debut and Peter Pawlett and Ryan Jack return to squad.

I won't be able to watch the match today, will be at work. Hopefully an entertaining one though, as that always makes my shift go quicker.

Ryan Jack returns for Aberdeen after missing the Scottish Cup win over Queen of the South for disciplinary reasons.

Midfielders Gavin Rae and Peter Pawlett could come straight back in following hamstring injuries.

Defender Russell Anderson, midfielders Rob Milsom, Isaac Osbourne, Yoann Folly and Clark Robertson remain out.

Steven Anderson is rated doubtful for St Johnstone. However, fellow defender Callum Davidson has rcovered from a hamstring problem.

Aberdeen defender Youl Mawene: "A lot of things have changed over the last few weeks. We have picked up a few more points and only lost one in 13.

"We know performances haven't really been there but I think we are in a good position to really push on.

"We have the target of top six and maybe more and we have the cup run as well. There is a lot to look forward to."

St Johnstone manager Steve Lomas: "We don't feel that we've had much luck over the past three or four weeks, although I have been pretty happy with the level of performance apart from the Dundee United game.

"We think key moments have definitely hurt us.

"A lot of people say it evens itself up, but it certainly doesn't feel like that at the minute.

"We just hope that maybe our luck changes because we definitely feel like we have been on the wrong end of the decisions."

Vernon missed a fine chance to open the scoring there.

Haha, I'm listening to Radio Scotland and I could hear the music in the background, but I thought it was from Easter Road at first because they were speaking to Chick Young at the time, who was giving team news ahead of the Hibs Celtic game.

Should've guessed it was the Sheepies playing it though!

Darren Mackie on for Aberdeen.

Did I hear this right, he hasn't scored a league goal since August, and that's not August last year, but the year before???

It was against St Johnstone mind you!

This game is being described as pretty dire, it sounds positively awful.

at half time they compared it to the Dundee Utd St Mirren game yesterday that was described as being - grim! and they said this game is not far off of that, hope it livens up soon
