I'm sure I started a thread along these lines a while back, but couldn't find it.

Following Boosk67 mentioning that he is taking his son to get a Liverpool shirt tomorrow, and him trying to decide what name he wants on the back, I thought I'd ask the question - what names do you get on the back of your shirt(if any)?

Do you get your OWN name, or a meaningful date maybe? Or if you get a player name, who did you get?

I didn't get a player name for a couple of years, but this year I have Ian Black on the back of my away shirt.

Previous to that I had Brellier (well, I had 'Le Juge', which was our nickname for him) - yes, as I've said before I have a thing for combative midfielders.

Down the years I've had Stephane Adam, Juanjo, Robert Tomaschek, Thomas Flögel and Phil Stamp - which makes Ian Black my first Scottish player!

McCoist might be the only name I have had on the back of a top. I almost had Broadfoot, but the irons were going to take too long to heat up for the name to be applied

Lucky escape really - with a name like that you were always going to end up with egg on your face...

Never had names on mine, thought about putting Bisconti on it (Roberto Bisconti) but then decided to put sheeptastic on it instead, just as well as Bisconti moved on soon afterwards, the hitlers at the club shop refused to put it on, 'no sheep or god references' they said, so I got the Hibs supporters shop to do it instead when I was working in Edinburgh, the only things they won't put on the back of a shirt are Bin Laden references apparently lol

"Bisco's gonna get ya" was the chant I seem to recall?

Remember him getting sent off at Tynie for booting the ball away in anger. I enjoyed that one :P
