It seems that either something is in the air tonight, or more likely there has been a few too many drinks had.

Being a forum with a variety of people on it, with footballing rivalries rife, there will always be disagreements and some level of winding up.

But tonight a few people have overstepped the mark, some I've already contacted by PM.

Craig is out tonight though, and we have both received texts from forum members showing their concern for some of the things being said on here tonight.

I had actually logged off for the evening, but felt I should come on and close anything if it really was as bad as I was led to believe - and it was.

I'm locking this post, just to make sure no further arguments break out, and I'll leave any repercussions until tomorrow when Craig gets a chance to look through everything that was said.

I haven't had a chance myself to read through everything, but I saw enough to make me lock ANOTHER thread, and to post this.

I know most of you are adults, most older than me, so I'll try not to patrionise with a wagging finger type approach, mainly because I think you're all more than aware of the line that's been crossed a couple of times.

But please just remember that although this is online and 'only words', for the good of the forum, and just respect in general, we should conduct ourselves in a civilised manner.

It makes the forum no only a hostile place, but a place that people don't want to come to.

Whatever our allegiances, beliefs or general personalities, I think we can all agree that we enjoy the forum and the debate that it offers.

Some of the behaviour last night was completely unacceptable.

Nobody should have to accept insults being thrown at them on the forum and behaviour like that will be met with a warning or worse.

Insults are bad enough, but last night there was also mention of physical violence towards another member. This will not be tolerated and I have issued a ban to the offender.
