Wasn't on earlier due to work commitments but apart from the odd comment I don't really see what the problem is tonight. Some posters on here rub each other up the wrong way, happens on every forum, and inevitably those personalities will clash. When it descends into unnecessary insults that's a different matter but for the most part it actually adds a bit of appeal. This place would be feckin boring if we agreed on everything.
Some folk on here want to get a grip, others want to get a life, me...........I want a drink ;)

Generally, I'd agree that it's all just part of the 'banter', and there will always be some level of disagreement and even winding up.

But I think there was a big problem tonight, and things definitely went too far.

Apart from anything, it clearly offended some people enough to get in contact with myself and Craig - and not people who were directly involved either.

As I said in a previous post, there is a still a line that we shouldn't cross.

I will be sticking to my promise, depending on developments, sad it has come to this, as you say there is a line that should never be crossed

I agree Laurie, plenty of room for heated argument on here, some folk can't handle it though. Similarly, why are blatant trolls allowed on here fishing for reactions?

I would much prefer to come in from a night out and go to my bed, rather than come one here with the sole intention of finding out where the arguments are.

I think starting threads with the sole intention of insulting members in the worst possible way is overstepping the mark . I wonder how many txts were received when that happened ? .As for my post about Jock and his use of his personal circumstances , i stand by every word . He lied about me saying something about his boy . I told him to prove and when he ignored my requests i brought back the thread and highlighted the post that offended him . Or as he calls it the "shit happens" post . You were all here , all you offended . You all seen it , Nothing in it anywhere near "shit happens" . Yet he continues to this day to lie about it .

The hypocrisy of some in here is staggering . GG again last night insulted me . In a reply to a post i made agreeing with her about threads being closed down ffs . Then she takes offence when i insult her back . Mind blowing really . What because your a women you think your allowed to insult and not get it reciprocated . Dream on .

As for the general health of this forum . It's at zero . It has turned into a quasi KDS . Every 3 thread is a blatant timtroll and nothings done about it . Posts that are simply Rangers hating pish are deemed interesting by the so called admin who only has eyes for huns . Well JR mate , your the arsehole . Least i can tell when somethings not interesting and just bile .

And that my friends i can assure you is my very last word on any matter . Sionarra suckers . :lolno:

Sadly I think a lot will think like this. The forum has lot many decent members recently due to what seems like constant arguing on almost every thread.

do you think it is always prudent to walk away when arguments are starting to happen? particularly if another poster starts the argument? interested to know where you think the blame lies

I have got included in arguments myself on here and I usually regret it.

I think sometimes it is better to walk away from arguments as the situation can often worsen.

As for the blame side of things I'd say that whether you start an argument or retaliate then there is usually more than one person to blame. I don't like seeing threats of violence and when insults get personal. We are all adults and should know how to behave.
