I don't see HIM on this forum, do you? my understanding on banning is that unless the person tells you they are banned all you will notice is that someone is no longer posting and might have better things to do or want to take a self imposed break, the powers that be don't publicly announce a ban and I understand the reasons for that........in part. If he comes back on in the next couple of weeks then I will know the situation for sure regarding any potential ban, and in that situation, yes I will stand by my promise. So now I have answered your question, let me ask you one youself, since HE appears to be a pretty good pal of yours, do you condone the comments made in particular to jock and GG, and please don't insult my (or anyone elses) intelligence by asking which posts, we all know which ones in particular, I await your answer with interest, I have always thought that sometimes we have been able to have decent conversations, putting our differences aside for the time, my (and I am sure others) impression of you will be greatly enhanced or diminished by your answer to this question, regards

I am glad you said that Craig, and the comment was in no way made to try and influence your decision, it was a gut reaction to what I saw unfolding on SFF, I'm sure the actions themselves made the decision a forgone conclusion and I would hope everyone agrees with that, hopefully we can draw a line under it and enjoy the very best the forum has to offer

very formal address if i may say so .......let me address your last point 1st.......with the greatest respect, i dont give a shit what you or anyone else thinks of me based on your question............anywho........

Do i condone what was said......i dont think about it in that way but what i can say is that they were comments that i wouldnt have made.

As for Jape being a pretty good pal of mine......thats not the case. I knew Jape back around 15 years ago when we stayed in the same village and he ran & played in the same amateur football team as me, we drank in the same places and knew a lot of the same guys...obviously, but didnt run about together. I hadnt seen him for years until we met up, blindly, for a swally 3 or 4 months ago. Not my mate i think you will find but what i can say is that he is a thoroughly nice chap who keeps himself to himself.

Japester is seldom short of a word, is a reasonably intelligent guy,has an opinion on most things and loves to joust on the SFF, a bit like myself in these respects....he is also a Bear and happens to share a lot of my thoughts on that too. His political and social views are far removed from my opinions though. All in... a good guy i would say.

All that leads me to the question of why he was 'driven' to the point where he temporarily 'lost it'.

Japes a big boy and doesnt need me or anyone to second guess what he did........Im sure he'll be back (if its not a lifetime ban) to answer any questions you may have for him

Perhaps a factor but highly improbable its the answer.

How about this for a thought....

There is a member in particular who jape clearly believes has continually told lies about him and systematically wore him down with his infantile behaviour and false cries of victim and bullying....classic passive aggressive behaviour in my opinion.

I certainly feel this member is just that towards myself also, his behaviour and trolling toward me on Saturday was nothing short of utterly shocking.

Do i feel sympathy for said 'victim' ? 100% no...

......if you knock on the devils door often enough then its only a matter of time before someone answers it
