Sore one today, thought the Dons deserved to edge it if I'm being honest.

First goal, awful decision by the lino but we could have defended the corner much better,

Higdon penalty, fairly soft award and not a great kick to be honest. Same corner he hit both his penalties into against Hibs, should maybe have mixed it up a bit.

Second goal, great finish but again really poor defending.

Lasleys red, no complaints, a straight red every day of the week and really no need to lunge in there either. I think Las will be disappointed in himself when he sees that again.

Third goal, good work from Humphery, must be pushing for a start again, keeper poor though.

Like I said I'm not that bothered with the Cup as it looks like Celtic will go on to lift it, I'd rather go out today than lose a final again. Big worry is now Saturday, we have no recognised centre halves (depending on Craigan's injury) so I wouldn't bet against a repeat result then which would be far more worrying.

Fair play to ADeen and good luck to them, I'd love a non Celtic winner although I can't see it happening. Thought the Dons fans were outstanding today, 2500 making the trip and they were superb from start to finish.

you are a top top man OMC, not so many fans could be so brutally honest about a game their team was involved in, indeed it would be great if a non OF team won rhe Scottish cup, or the league cup for that matter, if Hibs beat us in the semis then I seriously hope they win the final, but as with you I seriously doubt both cups are going anywhere else other than Celtics trophy cabinet

I'll get the kids to twist her arm, will we get an SFF posse to meet up at Hampden? maybe even catch up with Boyle if he is going

I'm sure something could be arranged amongst us. One of my mates is a Hibs fan but I've not heard from him yet.

We had visitors round yesterday and although the game was on in the background I never really got to see much of it. I did see the tackle though and it was an absolute shocker and don't think that anyone can have any complaints about the red card.

I believe that is the 3rd time he has been sent off at home this season. On TV last night both Craig Brown and Pat Nevin were trying to defend Lasley as being a nice guy (despite agreeing the tackle was bad) and would never intentionally harm another player however that leaves us with 3 options I believe

- Their assessment of the man is totally wrong
- Lasley is not vicious just reckless, in which case he needs to get control of his emotions on the pitch
- Lasley is just clumsy - for which (given the years he has been in the game) there is no excuse, you would think that one of his managers (including CB) would have taken the time to teach him how to tackle properly!!

I agree with ye Chappy....but I'd go a bit further back than the start of this season. He may be a nice gut but some of his 'tackling' is outrageous.

Great game and day out, Hampden is a nice prize at the end of it.
