Sometimes it seems to me that on occasion those who claim not to care what is written/said about them are sometimes the easiest offended and that is not directed at you Psycho, just a general observation.

is that not what your mum always told you, "sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me"

I think whether the singing offends anyone is not really the point. There is no place for it in today's society. They'd be better off singing songs in support of their team.

Bit of a stupid response from Rangers' security chief.
How many 'fans' were ejected from Ibrox for the "offensive behaviour" that disappointed the other fans present? Only one arrest made yet the number of people involved would suggest that David Martin and his colleagues weren't doing their jobs properly.
Yes, the majority of fans present gave positive support to the club but that doesn't mean you turn a blind eye to the situation. If you mean business like you say, boot the offenders out of the ground and don't let them back.

I've been to a few grounds where bigoted chanting is far worse than anything you hear at parkhead or ibrox. but all you hear is the clampdown on the old firm.

I agree with you totally Pogo but it's seen far more with the OF because most of their away games are televised.

Most games the support chant anything they can to get at the opposition. I've seen it at Motherwell, St Mirren, Kilmarnock to name a few. It may be bigoted but they dish it out on both sides.
