If it senior teams only I'd go for the following

North - Carlisle
East - Norwich
South & West - Plymouth
When all’s said and done it’s only a game.

Thought of Newcastle but decided to go for Carlisle also toyed with the idea of Berwick Rangers for furthest north but ruled them out as the play in the Scottish set up.

If you're talking between 'British' clubs...Colin Stein....Hibs to Rangers....£100,000

Allan Clarke (£150k) - Fulham to Leicester may just have been before Stein's move to the gers mate

Five grand 100 years ago? That must have been loads back then. Surely that can't be right.
