#543414 Terror attacks in Europe

Posted by Hairy Scot on 23 May 2017 - 10:18 PM

Bottom line, this ain't no religion thing. Yes these fuckers use Islam to hide behind, but they are just fanatical fuckwits.

Before we invaded Iraq/Libya/Afghanistan etc. how much trouble did we have with the Muslim community or ISIS/Al Qaeda?

More than the IRA/UVF or similar? Did we ban their associated religions and deport people following Catholic/Protestant faiths?

Before our first bombing expedition into the Middle East, did we not already have millions of Muslims in the UK? Any problems?

What I would say though, is that from the moment that first bomb dropped we should never have been inviting folk onto our shores.

If you're gonna fuck someone(even if you're wrong) do it right. If you don't, they'll come back and fuck you right back.

IMO, that's where we're at. Retaliation in the best way they know how, with limited resources. We dropped bombs, they'll carry them in.

Not trying to sound like a do-gooder, I want action too. I just don't know what that should be. If it's dragging out every radical known and deporting them, go for it. If we can lawfully ship out every immigrant who poses a threat, then go for it.

What we musn't do, is make this an anti Muslim thing, because there are so many good folk in our communities, doctors/surgeons treating folk last night, people offering free shelter, taxi drivers giving folk free lifts, all the while knowing that some will be looking at them with hate in their eyes.

Hope we find a solution, and soon. Things are starting to get serious and I can see retaliation coming and most likely against the wrong people

As to the cause of the Muslim war on the west; it is not a recent thing.

While events in Afghanistan and the like have given the extremists more fuel for their fire, the root cause is still the existence of Israel and the support given to that country by the West in general and the USA in particular.

All of that just helped inflame something that has been smouldering for centuries. There will be no easy solution.

@Dug @Bundy

Blair was just the last in the line of socialist prime ministers who cynically laid the UK open to unfettered immigration in the hope of increasing "the working class" sufficiently to gain the Labour Party a permanent majority in the House of Commons..

Harold Wilson was perhaps the worst with his policies regarding the Kenyan Asians.

You can be convinced all ye want , maybe you just dont want to believe it or think it could be true.

No proof or trace so im not convinced.

As for that picture, very mature of you

OH the irony.

Once again you display your penchant for resorting to personal attacks rather than participate in a discussion.

It's pointless trying to discuss with you matters relating to the dark side of the Kelly, White, Park dynasty at Parkhead. Mind you, you're not alone in being in a constant state of denial on that topic.

If you're not prepared to engage in a reasonable discussion then it may be better to remain silent.

If you know the history.................................

Who? Stop being general and say who you are aiming this at?

How about 9 out of 10 Celtic fans.

I have refrained from naming names to avoid making this a personal issue.

But if the shoe fits...............................................

Not like a Celtic supporter to deny , deflect or try Whataboutery.

Par for the course Trav.

It's ironic that, given the history of the club, its supporters are never slow to try and gain the moral high ground.

Nah zander said something about clubs putting reputations first before calling the cops , i pointed out its claimed by daly theres no record or trace of rangers calling the police, maybe you're just blinkered and dont wanna look it at that way , glass hooses and all that.

As for criticism of celtic is forbidden i guess you ignore all the criticism its took on here? Paranoid i say

Not really paranoid mate. Nine times out of ten the reaction of Celtic fans is to deflect.

Who said comparable? Check the post i quoted wity my reply

Perhaps comparable is an overstatement, but the issue of whether or not Rangers reported Neely to the police is being played up on SFF and elsewhere in an obvious attempt to paint the club in a bad light.

It's the same old story; criticism of Celtic is forbidden and will be countered by any means to deflect attention elsewhere.

There are too many Celtic fans who think that the misdeeds and mendacity of the Kelly reign must be swept under the carpet at all costs.

#542013 Which one would you do.....?
